Canberra to Coast Overnight

Canberra To Coast overnight package incl.  All transfers, 3* twin share motel, all meals and activities. This tour can be self drive as-well, by selecting the self drive option when booking. The Self drive option is for Pick up at the Wray street oyster shed, at the end of Wray street in Batemans bay. Pick up and drop off will be at the oyster shed for self drive option.

Day 1    

7:30 am Pick up at your hotel in Canberra For our Trip down to Narooma.

Our Canberra To Coast day tour will be part of our first day’s activities with:

Our first stop is in Batemans Bay for a Oyster tasting followed by a talk by one of the farmers in how theoysters are farmed. Next stop is for a cheese factory for a talk by the head cheese maker  including a tasting of all the different varieties. While we wait for lunch we will go and feed the calfs (cows) and the Alpacas. We board the bus for Narooma and go and meet two local Aboriginal members of the local area where a welcoming ceremony will be performed, welcoming you to the area, followed by a talk about traditional dream time stories about the Yuin tribe and the landmarks around. Now for the cool part, we go back into Narooma to observe the graceful gliding Stingrays and check out the local Australian fur seals that hang out on the rocks near our Australia rock.

3:00 pm drop off at your accommodation for a freshen up

5:30 pm Pick up for your 2 course dinner (mains and dessert)

7:00 pm drop off at your accommodation.

 

Day 2

8:00 am Continental breakfast then Bus at accommodation for pick up.

9:00am Bus trip to central tilba cheese and winery with lunch

1:00 pm A short bus ride to see the wild kangaroos

2:30 pm Mogo zoo guided tour

4:30 pm  Travel back to Canberra

7:00 pm Arrival at your accommodation
